Terms of Service

This User Agreement (the "Agreement") is between Praxis IB ("Praxis IB", "we", "our") and the user ("you").

Praxis IB is an independent online learning platform that helps students prepare for the IB Computer Science Diploma Programme assessment using AI-generated practice questions, examiner-style feedback, IA planning tools and study materials.

By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you accept this Agreement. If you do not accept it, do not use the Platform.

Praxis IB does not guarantee any examination outcome. The Platform is a study aid; it is not a substitute for the official IB curriculum, your teachers, or the official IB practice materials.

• •Questions on the Platform are produced by AI and are NOT official IB examination questions.
• •Materials are NOT prepared, reviewed or approved by IB examiners.
• •AI-generated content may contain factual or pedagogical errors. Always cross-check important content with official IB sources and your teacher.
• •AI-generated feedback is illustrative; actual examiner judgement may differ.
• •Praxis IB is not responsible for grades, predicted scores, university admissions or any other academic outcome.

Age requirement. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

Account security. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@praxisib.com of any unauthorised use.

Acceptable use — you agree NOT to:

• •submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or violates third-party rights;
• •attempt to extract, scrape, redistribute or resell AI outputs at scale;
• •use the Platform to cheat in proctored examinations or violate the academic integrity policies of your school or the IBO;
• •reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the underlying source code of the Platform;
• •interfere with the operation of the Platform, including denial-of-service or rate-limit evasion;
• •use the Platform to train any other AI model or to compete with Praxis IB;
• •create multiple free accounts to circumvent free-tier limits.

The Platform offers a free tier with limited functionality and a paid Premium tier. Some accounts may receive a free trial period; the trial automatically ends on the stated date and does NOT auto-renew into a paid subscription unless you explicitly subscribe.

No refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by mandatory consumer protection law. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period.

We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification.

All Platform code, design, brand assets, curated curriculum mappings, and proprietary content are owned by Praxis IB and protected by intellectual property law.

You retain ownership of content you create and submit (e.g. IA drafts, study notes, answers you write). You grant Praxis IB a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display this content solely to provide the Platform's services to you.

AI-generated content provided to you may be used for your personal study. Commercial redistribution of AI outputs is not permitted.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available"without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Praxis IB's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty (50) US dollars, whichever is greater.

Praxis IB is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost grades, lost admissions, lost data or lost study time.

You may delete your account at any time by emailing contact@praxisib.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach this Agreement, if your conduct may harm other users or the Platform, or if required by law.

On termination, your right to use the Platform ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will continue to apply.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Türkiye.

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
